The statement of the Directive is clearly defined under Article 3, paragraph 1 and 2 of the electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). The DEUBLIN Rotating Union is a purely mechanical device and does not apply to the RoHS EU Directive. Furthermore, all covered categories of the EEE are described under Annex I.
The legislation requires neither certificates nor declarations, reports or markings. The principle of the presumption of conformity is valid.
Section 1502 – Conflict minerals
Section 1502 Dodd‐Frank Act requires only certain companies (Sec. 13 (a) and 15 (d) Securities Exchange Act) to disclose and, where appropriate, submit a report on the conflict minerals used. Under the terms of the disclosure, the disclosure requirement applies to all companies that are required to report under the US Securities Trading Act.
The DEUBLIN Group respects the Dodd‐Frank Act section 1502 ‐ Conflict Minerals and is endeavoring to involve its suppliers in all statutory regulations.
We declare that to the best of our knowledge and belief, DEUBLIN products do not contain conflict minerals, but a precise statement of the origin of the raw materials cannot be given.
